When are the plagues prophesied by Jesus in his Olivet Discourse fulfilled?
(Matthew 24, 25; Mark 13; Luke 21).
Answer:
In the Olivet discourse, Christ answered the questions of 4, Jewish disciples who lived before the Cross and prior to the existence of the church (Mark 13:3). With the exception of brief references to the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70, all of the Olivet discourse concerns Jewish believers during the future, 7 year Tribulation. None of Christ’s answers apply to the church or this present church age of which his disciples knew nothing. For this reason there is no mention of the Rapture of the church. Christ simply answered Jewish questions concerning events that will precede the long awaited establishment of Christ’s prophesied kingdom on earth.
